The Management
ICD has a well-structured management system designed to ensure flexibility, accountability, and effective service delivery. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of seven members, led by a Chairperson and supported by a Secretary and Treasurer.
The Executive Director oversees the overall strategic direction of the organization and serves as the Secretary to the Board. For smooth day-to-day operations, ICD applies effective administrative and management procedures, supported by functional management practices, written policies, and internal control systems.
This structure promotes transparency, teamwork, creativity, and innovation among staff while ensuring efficient implementation of humanitarian and development interventions.
ICD is a local Somali non-governmental organization registered with the Federal Government of Somalia. The organization is headquartered in Mogadishu, with other office in Baidoa, Beledweyne, Kismayo, Dhusamareb.Â
